Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Grocery Manager with a proven track record of achieving sales goals, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring that all customers receive a friendly and welcoming experience. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and promote a culture of excellence within the store.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and visual merchandising to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient shopping environment.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, analyze sales data, and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained store appearance, adhering to company standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a post-secondary program with a focus on business or a related field, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills; clear and effective communication style; good judgment and decision-making abilities; ability to learn manual and automated systems/tools.
  • Work Environment: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift, carry, or handle heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities and a high level of performance.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
