About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Medication Assistant to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Medication Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as assigned under the direction of the Client Service Coordinator;
  • Meet resident personal needs according to an individualized plan of service;
  • Document according to facility policy and communicate pertinent and relevant information;
  • Complete domestic functions for residents according to service plan;
  • Other duties and responsibilities required pending specific resident needs;

Requirements

  • High School/ GED completion;
  • Shannex Client Services Assistant Certificate, Personal/ Home Support Worker Program or equivalent;
  • Parkland Medication Administration Certificate Program or equivalent;
  • Current CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification;
  • Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Ability to provide a clear Criminal Record Check;
