Job Summary

ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd. is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods and products to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Goods Handling: Prepare, package, and restock goods, as well as load and unload goods from vehicles.
  • Record Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during transportation.
  • Payment and Receiving: Pay and receive payments for goods delivered.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
Work Environment

As a Delivery Driver with ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with various locations and tasks. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
