Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in pest management
Work Environment
  • Working in confined spaces
  • Exposure to various odours
  • Dusty conditions
  • Tasks may involve working at heights
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and surrounding areas to identify signs of pest infestations
  • Assess and determine the appropriate treatment methods
  • Prepare and apply chemical solutions to affected areas
  • Set traps for the capture and removal of pests
  • Clean and sanitize areas prone to pest habitation
  • Provide clients with advice on preventive measures against pest infestations
Certifications and Training
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence required
