About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team at Richmond Denture Clinic Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, maintaining and ordering supplies, and finishing metal frameworks of dentures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Dental Prosthetics
    • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dentures
    • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
    • Polish and buff dentures to a high shine
  • Supply Management
    • Maintain and order supplies as needed
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop and maintain technical expertise in plastering, packing, waxing-up, polishing, and assembly
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Work under pressure to meet production demands
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Technical Skills
    • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
    • Ability to distinguish between colours
    • Hand-eye co-ordination
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments. They will also be required to work under pressure to meet production demands.
