Job Description

ECC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Environmental Remediation Project Lead to join our team in Port Hope, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve environmental remediation goals within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project proposals and plans to determine timelines, budget limitations, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Establish work plans and staffing requirements for each project phase, ensuring effective resource utilization.
  • Recruit and assign project personnel, outlining their roles, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • Review status reports and modify schedules or plans as necessary.
  • Prepare project reports for management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve problems through collaboration with project staff.
  • Coordinate project activities with government agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Promote a shared vision among staff, clients, and stakeholders while maintaining trust and credibility.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting information and responding to questions from various stakeholders.
