Job Title: Childcare Provider

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team at Andeen Palmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and education to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment, including maintaining a scent-free and non-smoking home.
  • Supervise and care for children, including performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods and maintain a safe sleep environment.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to children, including tending to their emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, including providing regular updates on children's activities and progress.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

  • Child welfare check.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Vulnerable sector check.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Overtime required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
