Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Administration and Financial Services Leader. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all general administration and financial duties of the organization. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling various accounts, and preparing all financial statements.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using bookkeeping software.
  • Reconcile various accounts, post journal entries on a regular basis, maintain ledgers, and prepare all financial statements.
  • Assist with annual audit preparation, including reports, materials, and backup documents as required.
  • Perform calculations and gather necessary documentation for preparing cheques for accounts payable.
  • Manage and maintain group benefits plans for staff.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll on a biweekly basis.
  • Reconcile payroll for processing and submission of T4 for government filing.

Qualifications:
  • A relevant educational training (CGA, CMA, CA designation) or equivalent experience (minimum two years experience in financial management/accounting).
  • College diploma or university degree in a related field, MBA considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, internet research).
  • Highly organized and able to multitask under strict timelines.
