About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at J-Mar Interiors Inc. as a Drywall Interior Systems Installer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners, ensuring a secure and durable finish.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision and attention to detail.
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath, adhering to industry standards.
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs, guaranteeing a sturdy and reliable structure.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, utilizing hand and power tools efficiently.
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation, ensuring a comfortable and healthy indoor environment.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, with a focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
Requirements
  • Own vehicle for transportation to various job sites.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
