Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage our cash handling procedures.
- Order merchandise and ensure our inventory is well-stocked and organized.
- Establish work schedules and ensure our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring our stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Accurate and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
