Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Route Manager to join our team at DESI MANDI. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the daily operations of our retail route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our cash handling procedures.
  • Order merchandise and ensure our inventory is well-stocked and organized.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring our stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Accurate and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
