Job Description

The Part-time Instructor in the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program at Medicine Hat College is responsible for teaching the Introduction to Audiology course. This involves presenting lectures, leading discussions, and supervising students in the lab setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Audiology with current licensure in Alberta, as well as experience teaching at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the Introduction to Audiology course in both the classroom and lab setting.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials that meet the needs of SLPA students.
  • Mentor and supervise students in clinical settings.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Audiology with current licensure in Alberta.
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level preferred.
  • Clinical experience in various settings preferred but not required.
