Hair Stylist

At Dark Shugar Hair and Beauty, we are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. Your primary duties will include shampooing customers' hair, supervising other hair stylists and staff, and applying hair extensions. You will also be responsible for maintaining and ordering supplies, as well as performing receptionist duties.
Work Environment:
Our barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will also be required to have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and be willing to train. You will also need to have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and be reliable. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and be available for shift or on-call work.
