We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Systems Developer to join our Innovative ETC R&D Squamish team in Squamish, Canada. This role will focus on collaborating with R&D colleagues in ETC's Middleton location to develop the next generation of IoT-based commercial building controls systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in low-level programming and/or embedded firmware development, as well as knowledge of software development in Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g., Zephyr RTOS) and embedded system security. Familiarity with Open Thread decentralized mesh networks, CoAP, Zephyr, and Linux is an asset. The ability to interpret schematics is beneficial.

This position requires working onsite at our Squamish office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assumes design responsibility for existing and special projects, including making modifications or improvements.
  • Analyzes project problems to determine probable causes and potential solutions.
  • Contributes to the compilation of project schedules, specifications, test plans, equipment purchases, and release of related documentation.
