We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Calgary Software Developers. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and maintain accurate records of employee benefits and compensation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management, including statistical and financial data.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
