Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex rail and transit systems projects, delivering high-impact engineering solutions for the local community in Edmonton, Alberta.

As a Traction Power Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Completing challenging engineering assignments, applying technical expertise and analysis within the traction power discipline
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution
* Preparing detailed requisitions for equipment and materials, reviewing supplier drawings and documents, and performing technical bid analysis
* Providing technical guidance to CAD designers and engineers, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and ordinances

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of relevant experience
* Professional Engineer registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
* Proficiency in utilizing PC software packages associated with engineering
