Job Title: Shop Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Shop Assembler to join our team at Innofab Millwork Corp. As a Shop Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting wood products to ensure high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and inspect wood products to ensure conformance to quality standards
  • Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to understand product requirements
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution, and load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and use computerized inventory control systems to track stock levels
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment:

The Shop Assembler will work in a custom cabinet shop environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
