Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position with the Government of Saskatchewan, working in the field of children's services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to families and children in need, including crisis intervention and counseling.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the needs of families and children.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families and children.
  • Provide education and training to families and children on topics such as parenting, child development, and community resources.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care).
  • Experience working with children and families in a support role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and be flexible in their approach to meeting the needs of families and children.
