About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Jeweller Specialist to join our team at Design Jewellers Ltd. As a Jeweller Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining jewellery pieces using special cleaning solutions and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain jewellery pieces using special cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices in jewellery repair and maintenance
  • Examine and appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values
  • Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery
  • Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings

Requirements:

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and manual dexterity
