As a Mechanical Supervisor at Northland Properties, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction teams. You will work closely with our Superintendents to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Assist in creating daily, weekly, and monthly construction schedules to meet project completion timelines and labor budget parameters.
  2. Talent Management: Hire, train, and assign employees, crew, and subcontractors, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline if necessary.
  3. Quality Control: Enforce quality standards by conducting daily inspections and resolving design problems.
  4. Team Collaboration: Support the supervision and coordination of day-to-day activities of the Mechanical crew.
  5. Safety First: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Resolve problems and identify construction management system improvements.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge and expertise in the Mechanical discipline, such as plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Understanding of all safety procedures, hazard recognition, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure health & safety standards.
  • Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in construction.
  • Track record of successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
