About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Therapy Assistant to join our team at My Empower Therapy Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of speech therapy services to patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients.
  • Supervise technical and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of therapy sessions.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients to promote independence and self-management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
