Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures, upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
  • Stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry, including new medications and clinical opportunities, to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Offer private consultations to patients, maintaining a patient-centred care culture and fostering strong relationships with the community.
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening, to support patients' overall well-being.

Requirements:

  • A Canadian Pharmacist licence and good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification and proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completion of mandatory training when required.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  • Additional training or certifications, considered an asset.
  • The ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  • A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
