Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

At Richardson International, we are committed to excellence in food safety and quality. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at our Oakville, ON location.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products meet food safety and quality requirements. This includes conducting inspections and testing analysis, applying hold stickers to non-conforming products, and releasing certificates of analysis for customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and testing analysis on incoming raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products.
  • Apply hold stickers to non-conforming products and conduct tests to verify quality and safety parameters.
  • Release certificates of analysis for customers upon request.
  • Conduct margarine profiles to verify finished product quality and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry (an asset).
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP and HACCP.
  • Excellent computer, written, documentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work shifts and overtime.
