Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, B.C. This is a casual opportunity for a Diagnostic Mammography Technologist to work rotating day shifts with varying hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures to image pathologic conditions in the diagnosis of breast disease for routine and specialized purposes.
  • Conduct radiographic procedures and maintain statistical records for the proper operation and maintenance of the mammography area, as outlined in the departmental procedure manual.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Radiography Technology Diploma program and post-graduate education in Mammography.
  • Two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist with demonstrated experience in all aspects of mammography.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
