At Concept Plastics Limited, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Maintenance Worker to join our team.

About the Role

This permanent position offers 30 hours of work per week, with the opportunity to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently, be physically fit, and possess excellent organizational skills. A secondary school graduation certificate and willingness to train are required for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs;
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse;
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures;
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies;
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas;
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks;
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling;
