We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team at AJE Rai Professional Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong focus on financial record-keeping and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process cheques for payroll
  • Calculate and maintain fixed assets and depreciation records
  • Keep accurate financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports, including tax returns
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Reliability and flexibility
