We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Bright Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across our transportation network.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses.
- Communication and Coordination: Process and transmit information and instructions to vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Respond to urgent calls from customers and resolve issues related to transportation and logistics.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by delivering requested wake-up calls and ensuring timely communication with customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
