Job Title: Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at A-1 Muffler & Tires. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians and learn the latest techniques and technologies in the industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting senior technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance, as well as performing routine tasks such as cleaning and organizing the workshop. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and organizing the workshop
  • Work on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
