Job Summary:
The Healthcare Professional will provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to emergency patients, utilizing evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Participate in designated hospital committees and teams, contributing to the advancement of clinical competence and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About this Role:
This is a relief part-time opportunity, working 0.75 FTE, with shifts scheduled to include days and nights, rotating from 06:50 to 19:17 and 18:50 to 07:17 hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this role will be $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.
About the Department:
The emergency department is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that offers a variety of challenging patient care experiences, with access to the latest technological advances. The department consists of a 2-bay trauma room, 6 stretchers, a Fast Track area with 6 exam rooms, 4 specialty/procedural rooms, and a seclusion room, handling 15,000 patients annually.
