About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Sectigo, Inc. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data warehouse architectures using Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes using FiveTran to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
  • Utilize DBT to transform and model data within the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Integrate and visualize data using Sigma to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse architecture, ETL processes, and data flows.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, data warehousing, and related technologies.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior data engineers and other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • IT Certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data warehouses.
Talents and Desired Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse data modeling, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault modeling.
  • Proficiency with Snowflake and experience in designing scalable data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as FiveTran and data transformation tools like DBT.
  • Familiarity with Sigma or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation techniques, data integration, and data quality best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL-based data warehouse platforms.
  • Familiarity with additional cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
