Hotel Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Clublink. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player.
