Job Summary

Empire Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work at various locations, both indoors and outdoors, and may be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
