About the Role:

As a Bookkeeping and Accounting Professional at T S C Electrical Services, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This includes calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, keeping financial records, and establishing and maintaining various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  2. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  3. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  4. Post journal entries
  5. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  6. Prepare tax returns
  7. Prepare trial balance of books
  8. Reconcile accounts

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  2. Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
