Job Title: Bookkeeping Clerk

Job Summary:
O'Town Auto is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Reconcile accounts

Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in bookkeeping
- Strong computer and technology knowledge, including accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
