Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory productivity, ensuring timely service support while minimizing risk of inventory loss.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through ordering parts according to sourcing procedure, collaborating with Centralized Parts Ordering.
  • Receive, store, and organize parts in an easily accessible manner, ensuring updates to PartsNet occur timely and conducting frequent inventory cycle counts.
  • Manage new and used battery inventory, ensuring tires are on hand in the right quantity and specifications.
  • Coordinate warranty items shipment and receipt, follow up on returns, and warranty-grams in partnership with the warranty department.
  • Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to ensure repairs are scheduled as parts are available.
  • Support vendors, monitor payments, and provide guidance to address issues affecting profitability.
  • Analyze processes in areas such as Inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, RO reviews, and other areas, recommending solutions and/or guidance to mitigate risks.
  • Utilize systems like ServiceNet or AS400 to understand operational dynamics for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the branch financial manager to contribute to branch performance and profitability by providing guidance and information.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service and operations.
  • 2 years of working in a service and parts department preferred.
  • Agile, quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects, and continuous education.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
