Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
  • Porter and transport food items between storage areas and kitchen spaces.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and supply levels.
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a food handler training program, as mandated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
  • Experience in food service, an asset.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.
