Overview

Frazer Health Authority is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Primary Health Care team in Hope, BC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients of all ages to help them develop skills for daily living and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients through assessment, consultation, and interventions that promote functional independence and occupational performance.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to formulate treatment goals and develop care plans.
  • Educate clients and families on independent living skills and occupational performance through individual and group sessions.
  • Prescribe and recommend specialized and adaptive aids and equipment to clients for activities of daily living.

Requirements

  • Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Two years' recent, related clinical experience in a community or home health setting.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
