Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience working with Esri's Enterprise and ArcGIS Online technologies. You will be part of a collaborative and motivated team that aims to simplify the path forward and inspire commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality spatial information products
  • Use maps and data sets for spatial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Develop and support a variety of Desktop, Mobile and Web GIS apps across the various JDI business units
  • Compile spatial data sets for a variety of sources, including LiDAR, census data, Global Positioning System (GPS) data, field observations, satellite images, and environmental monitoring data
  • Prepare reports of geographical statistics based on spatial data

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or Community College Diploma with a focus on Geographic Information Systems
  • Training or experience using the Esri platform including ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online
  • Customer focused: motivated by inspiring others to do things differently
  • Technically inclined, process-oriented and driven by a natural curiosity
