We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Logistics: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS navigation systems to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid driver's license.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and exposure to varying weather conditions.
