About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Used Equipment Manager to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our Global UE team, you will be responsible for creating unique solutions to meet customer business needs and grow our used business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement market strategies to drive growth and revenue in the used equipment market.
- Collaborate with sales and operations management teams to develop value-added solutions and establish service standards.
- Maintain a portfolio of inventory and consignments to drive financial results.
- Provide market evaluations and risk mitigation on prospective acquisitions.
- Establish disposition strategies and ensure complete remarketing packages on each asset.
- Identify and develop key sources for used equipment and collaborate with sourcing specialists to develop a network of contacts.
- Develop internal relationships and align with aftermarket strategy, operations network strategy, product management, and corporate finance.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a management discipline is preferred.
- 8-10 years' experience in industry knowledge, operational, marketing, and sales experience, including an intimate understanding of Finning's customer base and industry.
- Demonstrated customer relationship skills and solution selling.
- Experienced in the preparation and presentation of business cases.
- Customer-centric approach to the business.
- Strategic business planning, territory management, and account management.
- Ability to understand complex business problems and apply appropriate analysis and sound decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt approach to connect with front-line employees and senior executives.
