Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology at Fitness World is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for planning and implementing the organization's IT strategy. This includes evaluating current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and implementation of IT systems and processes to support business objectives.
2. Oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
3. Develop and implement business continuity plans to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of an emergency.
4. Establish and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
5. Manage the IT budget and report on IT performance metrics.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT projects.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
8. Analyze business requirements to determine technology needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
9. Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Requirements:

1. 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT, with a strong understanding of IT systems and processes.
2. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex IT issues and develop effective solutions.
4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, with a strong focus on delivering results.
5. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop IT solutions to meet those needs.
