Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at Liberty Tax Service.

  • Prepare and process cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Manage and maintain financial records, ledgers, and statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports, including trial balance and tax returns.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent accounting and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company.
