Primary Care Physician

Meadowood Medical Clinic and Positive Health Pharmacy/St. Norbert Medical Clinic, both operated by Neighbourly Pharmacy, are integrated health clinics that utilize pharmacies as the nucleus for expanded practices in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a full-time family physician, you will hold a core practice of clinic, acute-care and longer-term care between two busy locations.
Compensation Package
We offer an attractive fee-for-service compensation structure based on agreements between Doctors Manitoba and MHHLS, with an anticipated salary range of $350,000-450,000 per year, commensurate with 40 hours/week and 45 weeks/year. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will receive a rate of overhead charged.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to provide walk-in and by-appointment medical services to the community of Winnipeg. As a primary care physician, your duties will include coordinating patient care, examining and advising patients, ordering diagnostic procedures, prescribing and administering medications and treatments. You will be responsible for establishing a medical practice in Winnipeg, MB and providing medical services for a minimum period of five years.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with a busy family practice.
- Coordinate primary patient care, examine and advise patients.
- Order diagnostic procedures, prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must hold a medical degree and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Additionally, you must provide proof of CMPA coverage prior to starting practice and hold or be eligible for CCFP certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or eligibility is also required.
