Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team in one of our facilities. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of care staff to ensure residents receive the best possible care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address residents' complex needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in dementia care (an asset)
  • Cultural education and experience (an asset)
