About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Environmental Assessment Project Manager to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-profile environmental assessment projects for our clients in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver environmental assessments, permitting, and regulatory compliance services.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing effective proposals to secure new business.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technical specialists to ensure project success and team growth.
  • Actively participate in ERM's project management technical community, sharing best practices and collaborating with global practitioners to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in impact assessment and permitting, specifically in the mining sector in BC.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-profile projects, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, with a strong understanding of impact assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements.
