Job Title: Director of Construction
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead our construction projects from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including site management and supervision
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulations
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Monitor and control project costs, timelines, and quality
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in multi-unit residential, commercial, or institutional construction
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and priorities
