Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Esso Reddi Mart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure high-quality service.
    • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or related role.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • English language required.
