Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a heavy-duty truck from one location to another, with or without a load, on a predetermined schedule. This will involve inspecting the vehicle, checking cargo, and ensuring safe driving practices. In addition, the driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle, reporting any issues, and following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a heavy-duty truck on various routes, with or without a load, adhering to schedules and regulations.
  • Inspect the vehicle regularly, reporting any damage or issues.
  • Check cargo and ensure it is properly secured.
  • Operate the truck safely, efficiently, and courteously.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • At least 5 years of Class 1 experience.
  • LCV experience (mention mandatory).
  • A good driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to follow procedures.
  • Good communication and safety policies understanding.
