We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Silver Spoon Take Out & Catering Erin Mills. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to order
- Prepare special cuts of meat for customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Remove bones from meat
- Cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets
- Grind meats
- Train other meat cutters
- Slice cooked meats
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
Work Environment: Our retail shop is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our team to provide excellent customer service and ensure high-quality products.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
