As a key member of the finance department, this role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving business growth through strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Lead month-end close process, ensure timely completion of financial statements, and provide insights on company performance">
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls, manage audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements">
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to drive business growth through financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting">
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax experts, to ensure seamless communication and delivery of financial information">
  • Provide guidance and support to the finance team to ensure productivity, efficiency, and high levels of communication and transparency">
  • Analyze complex accounting assignments, apply generally accepted accounting practices, and exercise excellent analytical skills and business acumen">
  • Maintain a proactive approach to process improvements, actively seek feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and implement changes as needed">
  • Participate in the preparation and review of quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets, as well as related analyses and reports">
  • Coordinate the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial statements, reports, and performance estimates within established deadlines">
  • Interpret financial reports for management, comparing actual versus projected results, and explaining variances">
  • Undertake special analytical studies, such as identifying trends or evaluating current control systems">
  • Ensure all account reconciliations are completed, reviewing key accounts, analyzing details, and taking necessary actions prior to the end of the month">
  • Cordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions, and perform other duties as required">
  • Assist in the development of financial plans, strategies, and policies that align with the company's overall objectives">
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to enhance financial performance">
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent experience">
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment">
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required">
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong understanding of financial concepts, and ability to interpret financial data">
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Word software">
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills">
  • Self-motivated, organized, and attention to detail">
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and confidentiality in all matters">
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel">
