Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Vietnamese Language Tester to work with our team on a freelance basis. As a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for testing games and identifying linguistic, visual, and cultural issues in the localized text of various game titles on mobile, PC, and console platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test games and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Vietnamese
  • Identify translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
  • Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
  • Follow and respect terminology guidelines
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
  • Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
  • Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead

Requirements

  • Native-level language competency in Vietnamese
  • Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
  • Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
  • Passion for video games
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Professional competency in English
